California Capital Financial Development Corporation will host a Small Business Legal Clinic free of charge to small business owners on Mondays & Fridays, July 9th through August 27th.
Kristina Reed, JD, is a local lawyer, teacher, and business counselor that will be available for one-on-one consultations with business owners seeking guidance or answers to legal questions. 30-minute meetings will take place via Microsoft Teams video conferencing.

Kristina M. Reed was named to the "Top Lawyers List 2020" for her real estate practice by Sacramento Magazine. The Sacramento Magazine annually names the top attorneys in the Sacramento area as selected by their peers. Sacramento area attorneys were asked whom they would recommend, other than themselves, in 56 specialty practice areas. The nominees were then evaluated on the basis of the survey results, the legitimacy of their licenses and their standing with The State Bar of California. Qualifying attorneys who received the highest number of votes were named to the list.

The annual selections are made using a patented multiphase process that includes a statewide survey of lawyers, an independent research evaluation of candidates and peer reviews by practice area. Each candidate is evaluated on 12 indicators of peer recognition and professional achievement.
Bar associations and courts across the country have recognized the legitimacy of the Super Lawyers selection process. Most recently, the New Jersey Supreme Court upheld the findings of a Special Master assigned by the court to, among other things, examine the details of our process. In his July 2008 report, the Special Master lauded Super Lawyer's lawyer-rating process, stating:

Alliant International University Names Kristina Reed Adjunct Professor of Legal Research for California School of Forensic Studies
Kristina Reedhas been named as an Adjunct Professor by Alliant International University, California School of Forensic Studies. Ms. Reed will teach Legal Research to the graduate students in the Clinical Forensic Psychology PsyD Program. “ California School of Forensic Studies facultyare some of the most experienced, qualified faculty in clinical forensic psychology and forensic studies, both in the U.S. and internationally. Expertise ranges from presenting ground-breaking research to regularly and consistently working with family courts, police departments, and prisons. Faculty include an Italian federal police officer, an expert in terrorism and risk assessment with federal law enforcement experience, a Senior Superintendent for the South African police, and a former consultant to the FBI's Unabomber Task Force.” Kristina Reed is honored to be included amongst such esteemed faculty and she looks forward to bringing her real-world knowledge of legal research to the classroom.
